One of Eastern Idaho's strongest voices for education, limited government and conservative values, Wendy Horman is your legislator for District 30 in the Idaho House of Representatives.

Wendy has been busy in her second term. She has sponsored and supported legislation for education reform and supports the recommendations from the Governor's Task Force for Improving Education. "Like every mother, I want my children to have the best possible education. I believe that local control and support for students, parents, teachers and schools are critically important to the future of Idaho," Horman says. "I have fought for those values and will continue to do so if I am given the opportunity to again represent the people of Bonneville County." She has also fought to make our schools safer with H514 - the Idaho School Safety and Security Act - which is now law because of Wendy's commitment.

In addition to serving on the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee where she works primarily on education budgets, Horman also serves on the Commerce and Human Resources Committee and on the Local Government Committee, where she has had the chance to fight for lower taxes and fewer rules for small businesses.
